Getting the home ready for Autumn

With our imminent arrival due any day now, I’ve been making finishing touches to the nursery – as much as possible without venturing too far from home on a treasure hunt – and have also turned my attention a little more to the rest of the house, making a few tweaks to make it as cosy and Autumn-ready as possible, as I sure as hell won’t be caring about it much over the next few weeks I imagine.

The Dream Nursery Chair Has Landed!

With less than six weeks to go until due date, operation nursery has stepped up a gear. Not that it will be used for the first few months, and not that I’ve consciously started making more effort, it’s been a priority of mine from day dot as it’s just something I love doing and in all honesty, having the nursery to focus on has probably helped me cope with the overwhelming-ness of having my first baby.  Read more!

The Week That Was… The Napa Cabbage!

Ok I admit, I don’t know what a Napa Cabbage is, but apparently it’s the size of a swede, so I guess a small cabbage. Either way, it’s been week 25 and baby’s getting bigger!

For me and Mr Lynch, this was the week of our baby moon – a long awaited and much needed week off work together, which we spent partly in North Wales before spending a few days at homer making a start on the nursery.
